- Introduction
This is a small matter that happened among three individuals who weren't particularly close, and what makes it complicated is that each of them had secrets - secrets about who they truly were. The concealment of one's true self could be unintentional, it could be a reluctance to admit, or it could be a conscious choice.
It's about wanting to escape, wanting to break free, and something elusive. It is also about those who refuse to admit who they are now, who failed to realise one’s unattainable dream, and those who are pathetic or hypocritical. You can witness the individuals drowning in the waves of history, destiny and tragedy. Amid these, those people still fail to give up — The Distance is an immortal metaphor for all of these.
